Sauer H1B060 H1B080 H1B110 H1B160 H1B210 H1B250 H1B Bent Axis Hydraulic Motor, Series H1 variable displacement motors are bent axis design, incorporating spherical pistons. These motors are designed primarily to be combined with other products in closed circuit systems to transfer and control hydraulic power. Series H1 motors have a large maximum/minimum displacement ratio of 5:1 and high output speed capabilities. The expanded function of zero degree capability, coupled with a high performance 32 degree maximum angle, creates opportunities to easily improve the machine performance.
A complete family of controls and regulators are available to fulfill the requirements of a wide range of applications.
Motors normally start at maximum displacement. This provides maximum starting torque for high acceleration.
All controls utilize internally supplied servo pressure. This may be overridden by a pressure compensator
which functions when the motor is operating in motor and pump modes. A defeat option is available to
disable the pressure compensator override when the motor is running in pump mode during
deceleration/braking.
The pressure compensator option features a low pressure rise to ensure optimal power utilization
throughout the entire displacement range of the motor.
Speed sensor options are available to cover all frame sizes and flange styles.
Details regarding the choice of hydraulic fluid:
The correct choice of hydraulic fluid requires knowledge of the operating temperature in relation to the ambient temperature: in
a closed circuit the circuit temperature. The hydraulic fluid should be chosen so that the operating viscosity in the operating temperature range is within the optimum range - the shaded area of the selection diagram. We recommended that the higher viscosity class be selected in each case. Example: At an ambient temperature of X °C an operating temperature of 60 °C is set. In the optimum operating viscosity range (shaded area) this corresponds to the viscosity classes VG 46 or VG 68; to be selected: VG 68. Please note: The case drain temperature, which is affected by pressure and speed, is always higher than the circuit temperature. At no point in the system may the temperature be higher than 115 °C. If the above conditions cannot be maintained due to extreme operating parameters, please consult us.
Hydraulic fluid:
Before starting project planning, please refer to our data sheets RE 90220 (mineral oil), RE 90221 (environmentally acceptable hydraulic fluids) and RE 90223 (HF hydraulic fluids) for detailed information regarding the choice of hydraulic fluid and application conditions. The variable pump A4VG is unsuitable for operation with HFA, HFB and HFC. If HFD or environmentally acceptable hydraulic fluids are being used, the limitations regarding technical data and seals mentioned in RE 90221 and RE 90223 must be observed.
